December 3rd Silent March

On December 3, 2006, at 7:00 pm, CAUSA will be leading a silent march that will mimick those of Las Damas de Blanco in Cuba. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us in front of The Newman Center on the MU campus at 7. From there will will walk silently through parts of downtown Columbia, ending at the offices of the Columbia Missourian.

Participants are encouraged (but not required) to wear white for this march, as a way of adding to the symbolic power of this show of solidarity with the people of Cuba in their struggle against the island's oppressive ruling regime.
